The collection of S&T award information and award recipients was created as
a measure of the appreciation of the contributions of scientists and researchers who are directly
involved with research and development related activities (R&D) and developing the National S&T
policies which in turn contribute to the nation’s economy and the people’s standard of living.
Additionally, such information may be used as a reference to the public to learn more about the
award being contested.
